MixAIR beta online for downloading
Just a few minutes before the deadline of the Derby we finished the MixAIR. The past days we spent most of our time in rebuilding the app, since there where several bugs in the first version. So here it is! Drag ‘n drop all your videos (flv) (from your hard-disk or YouTube), music and images to the MixAIR and mix them.
I hope the interface speaks for itself, but since there is no manual or what so ever, it might be you don’t know how it works. If you have any problems using it, please write a comment.
MixAIR in a nutshell:
- Drag and drop media files on the mixer. MixAIR supports flv, mp3, jpeg, gif, png. You can also use BitMap data of YouTube video’s (see: ‘how to import YouTube video’)
- Use the green knob to mix visuals, use the red knob to mix sound. The closer the knob to the corresponding connection of the input on the mixer, the stronger it output signal.
- You can change the position of the input connection on the mixer bij dragging it to an other position on the ring.
- You can organize the positions of the input window by dragging them to an other position on you screen.
- You can scale the output window, by double clicking it, you get full screen
- You can seek in sound and video witch the seek-circle
- You can repeat video and sound by clicking on the top of the seek circle. The line will turn in to an arrow.
How to import YouTube videos in MixAIR:
You can drag and drop a thumbnail of a YouTube video out of your browser (it does not work in Internet Explore, so use FireFox) on the MixAIR and it will automatically open. How easy is that.
Please enjoy using MixAIR. Since it is still in beta and we’re still working on it, please report bugs, send comments or feature requests!
