TyZ - Thijs Broerse - Flash Developer

Okay, I still didn’t had time to fix BubbleTrouble, but we did had time to create this ass-kicking video.

Like last year I joint the Adobe AIR Summercamp in Belgium. But this time we beat them all and won the first prize in the creative category! Our teammembers: Sander Riel (TechTribe), Roland den Hertog (MediaMonks) and me, build an ass-kicking AIR game ‘BubbleTrouble’. But since I still have to fix some issues (auto update ig.), I can’t post the air file at the moment. But soon it will be available on this site. The prize is a ticket to Adobe MAX in Milaan for each team member.

We also ruled the survival game, but unfortunatly this year there were no prizes for that. So walking down the river and make our clothes wet, hanging in barb wire and step into cow drop was for nothing. At least we had fun

Soon I will post more about our game ‘BubbleTrouble’.

7Land is een campagne site voor T-Mobile. Een behoorlijk heftige website waarvan ik de scripting van het stadion gedeelte heb gedaan. In de stadion kan je mee doen aan een wedstrijd door een leuke foto van jezelf te uploaden. Je kan inzendingen van andere bekijken en stemmen welke de beste is.

Voor deze site hebben we gebruik gemaakt van Gaia, een framework voor Flash die onder andere de navigatie tussen de verschillende secties voor zijn rekening neemt. Het werken met Gaia is goed bevallen, want het huidige project waar ik aan werk wordt ook met Gaia gemaakt.

Mijn eerste project bij MediaMonks, een uitvaartsite. Ook niet erg spannend zou je denken, maar dit was toch wel een leuk project, vooral omdat het gericht is op jongeren en ook niet heel  erg serious is.

Zo kan je op de site je eigen graf samenstellen en opslaan om bijvoorbeeld in je MSN of Hyves profiel te gebruiken.

A project for Loyalis, called “Kies nu je toekomst” (choose your future now). It’s a carousel with thing you might want to do in the future. Turning the carousel opens an item and displays it (potential) costs. By changing the sliders you see how you can get that amount of money.
